Editorial standards
Content on this site is written for patients, reviewed by a named clinician before publication, and dated. Claims that cannot be supported are removed rather than softened. Where the evidence leaves a question open — and how much fat survives is the clearest example — the site says so rather than offering a reassuring figure.
Advertising and promotion
This site does not present medicines or devices by brand name, does not publish prices or discounts, and does not use countdowns, scarcity or outcome guarantees. It is a hospital's educational publication about a procedure, and it is written so that a reasonable reader can decide against the procedure after reading it.
Marketing claims we refuse
We do not claim that fat transfer can produce a large increase in breast size, that it lifts or corrects droop, that the result is permanent or predictable, that a single session is always enough, that it is safer than an implant in general terms, or that it leaves no effect on breast screening. Comparison pages in this cluster deliberately avoid declaring a winner, and this statement applies to them as well.
Patient privacy
No patient photographs, identifying details or case histories are published on this site without documented consent, and the images used to illustrate the guides are editorial artwork rather than depictions of identifiable patients.
Reporting a concern
If you believe something published here is inaccurate, misleading or non-compliant, tell the hospital's administration line. Corrections that are justified are made and the review date is updated.
